Bad hair days tend to happen unfortunately and this is when hair hacks come in handy. There is nothing that cannot be fixed with a well thought hack. I put together a short video with the most used 5 hair hacks that literally saved my hair so many times! These are golden hacks that are super easy and do not need much of tools or products to use. Even if you are travelling, well especially then, they will save your day with easy and quick fix.
Hair Hack #1: Knot and Pin
20 second updo for a dirty or dull hair and yes it is literally 20 second to recreate it because it is meant to be messy and effortless, with lots of bobby pins. Now, before I go ahead and tell you how it is done, just keep in mind I am not using my Anchanté Hair halo hair extensions, but if you wish you could most definitely add the hair extensions for the extra volume and length.
Back to the Knot and Pin hair hack as I like to call it. To make this updo you will need lots of bobby pins and that’s all. You simply start by parting your hair into two and then knotting two parts together once or twice depending how long your hair is. The remaining hair you will pin in its place and that’s all for this updo.
Hair Hack #2: Dry Shampoo and/or Texturizing Spray
This is all time favorite amongst the ladies. Literally our life saver for those days when the hair would be oily or lifeless. What I like to do, I add dry shampoo or baby powder to my roots at night and I sleep on it. In the morning, to add extra volume and bed hair look, I like to use my texturizing spray. The thing about texturizing spray is that it holds the hair without that stiff look that you would normally get if you were using a hairspray. Also, you can be brave and use this texturing spray on your halo hair extensions as well, but make sure to clip-in hair extensions before you spray with texturizing spray because it will be easier to part your hair in order to clip-in hair extensions.
Hair Hack #3: Pinned High Ponytail
I absolutely love this hack because you can get SHABAM ponytail without NO products or any special skills to put it high top. You will need 2-3 bobby pins and a hair elastic to recreate this look. You start by putting your hair in a ponytail, and then afterwards, you need to pin the ponytail. You will bobby pin it downward in an angel so that the ponytail is lifted. See the video where I am showing how to pin properly. And I also like crisscrossing my bobby pins in order to get a tight hold on the ponytail.
Hair Hack #4: Curled Ponytail
Curly hair is beautiful and since I have straight to wavy hair I am in love with curly hair, but curling the hair can be time consuming. However, curling your hair while it is in ponytail is so easy I can do it everyday almost! Curled ponytail hack created dreamy natural curls that are not super tight but very effortless almost mermaid like. All you do is put your hair in a ponytail and curl it. I like curling it by taking chunky hair pieces and curling it randomly, but you can do smaller curls to get even more volume. This is also a perfect way to curl your hair extensions.
Hair Hack #5: Tame Baby Hair and Fly Away Strands
To all who got baby hair already ahead of the game with this hack. I was introduced to this one by a fellow friend with baby hair and instantly it became my absolute favorite hack for my fly away strands. I was never a fan of hair gel when it came to fly away strands but using a toothbrush with hairspray to smooth out those strands is a perfect alternative. It looks very natural as if you have not used heavy products and the fly away strands stay put till you wash your hair pretty much. See the video where I am showing how it is done.
Also, our extensions are a great way to transform your natural look into an enchanted and more mesmerizing one. The volume and length of Anchante halo hair extensions is hard not to notice. so if you are having a bad a hair day, simply fix it with a hack and a set of Anchanté halo extensions for the extra BOOM!
