Throughout the day, I tend to change up my hairstyles when I put a bit more effort into my hair than letting it down. Even if it is a half hairstyle, believe me, there will be a full updo of some sort or a ponytail (when I am being lazy) closer to the evening. This is one of those hairstyles that was created by complete accident in between editing one of my videos. Since then, I would get so many compliments every time I would recreate this look, especially when that one time when I did it for an event where literally every girl just could not stop asking how I did it, so I was like WHY NOT SHOW YOU HOW TO MAKE IT! Honestly, it is breezy and it looks absolutely enchanting!
Here is what you literally got to do:
- Take strands from the side of your hair and tie it with small elastic band
- Flip it through the loop
- Pull it from the bottom so the elastic pulls up
- Pull a bit of hair to give it thick look
- REPEAT Steps 1 to 4 until you are satisfied or run out of the hair.
NOTE: always make sure that the next loop you are creating is not attached to the strands of the one you have already made. You layer the loops one over another one just like a ladder. I made it diagonal to my right side, but you can also make a straight centered one.
This is one of the most effortless braids I have done in my life and you can make it messy or slightly slick, but regardless how you decide to do it, it will get some heads turning and minds wondering how to recreate this. Promise you this!
Simply stock up on small elastic bands and few bobby pins and start loop braiding.
